I’m working on a dedicated ‘books to read’ post for 2025 — there are SO many good books coming out next year, it is genuinely thrilling! Oh, and—cough cough—my own novel too. I’m starting to feel excited at the prospect of releasing new work into the world and very much reminding myself that I am only ever in control of the work part. I’m not in control of how it is perceived, received or how it ‘performs’. How cool is that? The relief. I can simply do my best, let it do its thing and make its own way in the world.

I’ve shared here before that I love doing the Goodbye, Hello journal every year in December and it really sets me up with clear intentions for the year ahead. It guides the reader through key moments and reflections, helping you pinpoint what you want more or less of. People, places, projects, experiences. It’s gentle and empowering at the same time.

I’ve been seeing a few people doing their ‘ins and outs’ and it feels playful and fun. I’d love to hear yours in the comments!

So here are my INS and OUTS for the year ahead:
