Plus I must dust down my copy of Drinking A love Story - I read it when it came out and it sounds like it has stood the test of time and inspired other memoirs about our addiction culture.

and am so excited to now go and explore her work. Two things that really stood out for me: when you said “she’s so full of herself” is meant as an insult but actually it’s gorgeous to see a woman full of her Self; and when Jenn said “you can’t be seen when you’re hiding”. Wisdom!
