I ordered the anniversary edition from America, and it joins my two other copies (I still have my original hardback) and I loved the new introduction letter from Rebecca Kuang and the new writing. It is so special. Sending all my best wishes to the family and I hope Marina's writing spirit finds and inspires even more people with the new edition, I know it will.
I've been thinking a lot about you as well. You took the words right out of my heart Emma- it is my intention to have Marina's writing spirit find and inspire people with the new edition. Would you be willing to participate in an interview for the video I am producing about people whose lives have been impacted by Marina and the book and to post a review after reading the anniversary edition of the book? I can conduct the interview remotely if you are open to it and it would be lovely to catch up a bit in 'person'.

I read it in my early 20s, a year or so after it came out I think, and remember feeling so emotional the whole time, partly because of how touching the writing was and partly because of knowing there would be no more of it for the worst reason imaginable. I had borrowed my then flatmate's copy, but perhaps the 10 year anniversary is a good excuse to get my own for a re-read. 💛
