Love this premise, resonates very very much for me and I’ve been mulling for a while a book about a girl who goes on a trip to meet in real life people she’s connected with online and feels closer to that her friends in life over last 20 years. Change and also intergenerational friendships too. I read your two A Year Of Nothing little books and they reasonated too (am finishing a book called The Watcher / The Aloneness about a girl who remains in London but extracts herself from society! I think there’s a lot of that mood about isn’t there - cracking, overwhelm, change)… looking forward very much to reading this!
Reasonated? I coined a new term by doing a typo... I will for sure. Not sure how I missed out on reading Olive but have just ordered that too, it was me 15 years ago (and I never did have children!)
